On Monday, May 8th, I joined another interesting walk organised by OWC.
This time we had a busy program: we visited Tipu Sultan’s Palace, Kote Sri Prasanna Venkataramana Swamy Temple, a hidden Armoury, Bangalore Fort, KR flower market and…for the last 3 women standing …an extra TukTuk ride to a local Indian restaurant. And oh my, was I tired and hungry!
The guide Govinda is a born and enthusiastic storyteller and showed us beautiful places. And although I prefer to explore alone and wander around at a slower pace, I truly enjoyed this walk. Govinda showed us places you will not easily find on your own, like the armoury. For example, the armoury or weapons depot was hidden behind a small house with goats and chickens running around.
Instead of me summarising all the valuable information he told us (too much for me to recall), my short photo impression describes it all.
If you want to know more, book this OWC walk the next time and enjoy ☺️
